OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH POLICY

 

Al Jurf Development Projects is committed in partnership with its employees, vendors and customer to deliver its business activities and services and infrastructure, Landscaping and Irrigation, whilst maintaining a proactive integration of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) deliverables as paramount objectives and targets at all levels of the organization with an aim to meet but exceed customers’ expectations in all its operational and contractual obligations

 

Al Jurf Development Projects is dedicated to establish, maintain and continually improve an effective and efficient Occupational Health and Safety Management System in compliance with OSHAD SF version 3.1 requirements as well as in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards in a controlled and suitable manner.

 

  • To achieve and develop Occupational Safety & Health Management System set by OSHAD SF Version 3.1 required by the SRA under Abu Dhabi OSH Center as per Decree No. 42 of 2009.

  • To enforce company safety and health rules and require employees to follow the rules as a condition of employment.

  • Conduct routine safety and health inspections to find and eliminate unsafe working conditions, control health hazards and occupational diseases, and comply with all applicable safety and health requirements of OHSAS standards.

  • All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and in our work sites.

  • To achieve 100% ZERO LTI to all employees annually.

  • Continually improve in all OSH requirements by training all employees in safe work practices and procedures

  • Ensures that Al Jurf is compliance with all legal OSH requirements

  • Ensures that Al Jurf targets and objectives are met, reviewed and monitored.

  • Ensures that Al Jurf Resources are provided to employees such as; personal protective equipment and train them to use and care for it properly.

  • Supervisors are responsible for conducting training to workers in safe work practices.

  • All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.

 

The OSH Policy shall be communicated and be available to all concerned parties as appropriate and shall be consistently implemented on all projects. This OSH policy shall be reviewed periodically for ongoing applicability, effectiveness and suitability as part of the management review process
